My Weekend
Last weekend, an educative campaign, themed fruit picking, was conducted among us students. The farm where we gathered fruit was a modern one with abundant fruit and advancede quipment, enabling us to carry out various tasks.
No sooner had we got there than the skilled leader gave us a warm welcome and a detailed introduction about how to tell ripe fruit from raw fruit and how to pick fruit scientifically. Having heard his useful word, we got down to picking fruit in group with high efficiency. In return for farmers’ hardwork, we juiced all we collected and gave bottles of juice to them.
On the way home, I couldn’t stop thinking about this experience, which not only broadened our view but also stressed the importance of scientific farming of farmers.
