interest和interesting的区别是什么
1、意思不同。
(1)interest作动词，意为“使感兴趣;使关注”。interest作名词，有以下四种含义。
(2)意为“兴趣”，固定搭配：interest in sb/sth 对...感兴趣
sth. be of great interest ....很有趣
have no interest in… 对….不感兴趣
lose interest in… 对…失去兴趣
(3)意为“利益;利息”。固定搭配：do sth back with interest 加倍回报。

(1) interest既可用作可数名词,也可用作不可数名词。
例句：He has two great interests. One is sports and the other is music. 他有两大爱好:一个是体育,另一个是音乐。
(2)interesting指人或物时，表示具有能唤起某人心理或情感方面兴趣的能力，而不表示兴趣的程度或原因;指书、戏剧、影视等时，则表示具有较强的娱乐性，而且能使人消愁解闷。
(3)interesting既可以作表语，也可以作定语。 能修饰人，也能修饰物。
